Cello-Lite is a brand of products manufactured by the UTSUNOMIYA ELECTRIC MFG. CO. LTD which was founded in 1936.

They achieved multiple patents for their unique fuse designs based on a combination of a hard glass outer tube and arc-extinguishing film to achieve higher breaking capacities. The transparent structure made for easier element inspection compared to the traditional opaque fuse outer tube. This led to the later development of a marine fuse which received certification from authorities such as Lloyds Register of Shipping, France, Bureau Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping etc. and has been used in ocean-going vessels including large tankers, bulk carriers, container ships etc.
