Terminal blocks are manufactured with one covered side and one exposed side to reduce overall width as they are designed to be installed side by side. When installing multiple terminal blocks to a DIN rail, they are positioned so that the covered side of one block contacts the open side of the next block etc. To cover the open side of the last terminal block, you need to fit one End Plate. This plate ensures the metal internals of the last terminal block cannot be contacted. This special 3mm End Plate is only required to be used with DIN rail mount fuse carrier part numbers: 4358100, 4358101, 4358102. If you want to use jumpers with these blocks, one 3mm End Plate (or 2 x 1.5mm End Plates) must be fitted between each block to acheive the correct spacing.
